Christmas is something we take very seriously in our house hold and this has only stepped up a notch since moving to our new house. I’ve been thinking about what decor we will have in the house, months in advance, how many trees is too many trees and I’ve been collating lists of hints dropped by my loved ones since at least January.
I wanted to be as prepared as possible this year as although December is my absolute favourite month of the year, it’s also the most mental busy. We’ve got not only Christmas on the horizon but birthdays and anniversaries, including our own! Then there’s vlogmas, the busiest month in my work calendar as well as Christmas parties and festivities, I just didn’t want to be scrambling for half hearted gifts throughout the month and thankfully, all this foward planning is about to pay off with the first online orders being placed for my loved ones thanks to Christmas coming early to Selfridges with up to 20% off selected designer brands in store & online.
The Christmas Comes Early promotion kicks off today from 1am until Sunday 25th November at 23:59 across all Selfridges stores and online at www.selfridges.com and you will find;

But of course, I’m not going to leave you hanging like this. I’ve popped together a list of super special gifts that you can find online now with many of them included within the Christmas Comes Early promotion
No. 1
THE BRITISH HERITAGE GIFT
I have gifted many a Burberry scarf in my life time and it is actually one of my favourite gifts to give. The gift of warmth alongside some iconic British luxury, there is something extremely wonderful about watching someone you love, untie the gold ribbon and reveal their new gift. There is a colour to suit everyone but my personal favourites are this gorgeous festive red, the classic Camel check and Navy.

SOMETHING UBER LUXE
If there’s one beauty brand that oozes luxury, it’s Tom Ford and it’s often one of those brands that can’t be justified on a normal day to day beauty purchase. But for that special beauty lover that we all know, this could be the perfect main gift for their over flowing lipstick collection. You can conquer the world with a good lipstick!

THE COST-PER-WEAR GIFT
There are some gifts that keep on giving long after the Christmas festivities have passed and the Stuart Weitzman highland boots are most definitely one of them. Worn with thick black tights through the colder months and barelegged through Autumn and Spring, heck, even with the great British Summer, the fashion concious lovers are bound to get some wear out of these wardrobe staples then too.

THE NEW HOME OWNER GIFT
I still remember the first Jo Malone candle I received for our new home four years ago, I couldn’t have displayed it more prominently if I had tried and I’m pretty sure it took me 2 years just to build up the courage to burn it. But unwrapping it gently from the Jo Malone box is a feeling I remember vividly and love to pass on to loved ones. In fact, as I type this I have just the person in mind for this gift come Christmas day.

THE HANDBAG ADDICT
OK, so this ones for me, I can’t lie! Handbags are my weakness and the accessories department in Selfridges tells me I am not alone so it just wouldnt be a Lydia Elise Millen gift guide without one and the cherry red leather of the Gucci Soho Disco bag will be the perfect festive addition to any wardrobe.

PREMIUM FRAGRANCE
AERIN is one of my most favourite modern luxury fragrance brands of the moment. Pairing perfectly with the season Amber Musk is their “warm, inviting scent you want to wrap yourself in – like a soft cozy blanket on a cold snowy night.”

No. 7
THE BEAR HUG
The Max Mara teddy bear coats have been the outwear of the season. Having treated myself to one I can vouch for its cosiness, it really is the gift of a bear hug perfect for those who feel the cold a little more than the rest us. However, this definitely sits within the luxury budget and whoever finds this wrapped under the tree must have been an angel in 2018!

NOT QUITE NEW SHOES
Much like handbags, shoes are a bit of a weakness of mine too but they aren’t always a possibility around Christmas time. With house renovations going on right up until the Holidays and an unexpected intercom replacement needed, the Iconic Christian Louboutin Lipstick encapsulates the magic of a new pair of red soles, without the price tag through their growing beauty range.

THE GIFT OF GREAT HAIR ALL YEAR ROUND
The ghd platinum+ styler has been my saving grace since cutting my hair over the past month and it got me thinking about life before ghd’s, and oh what a life that was! It’s the beauty tool a lot of us cannot live without so as well as their new Platinum+ styler, they also have a number of gift boxes too!
