Double Take

Needless to say everything is slightly manic in the new house so I haven’t managed to snap any outfit pictures or rustle any recipes up. That said, the fact that the Sky man hasn’t hooked us up yet means I’ve been having to find new ways to entertain myself in the evenings when we finally finish sorting through the boxes containing our lives.

Now regular readers will know I am partial to a selfie on the odd occasion and any opportunity to take it to the next level is always welcomed. From text over-lays to brightness and contrast adjustments, there are apps for all your selfie needs in preparation for sharing.
The success of photo sharing apps and websites make it apparent just how true the phase “a picture says a thousand words”. With one photo you are able inspire, motivate and touch people all over the word, so I was intrigued when I was introduced to this great new app which gives you the ability to show 2 images at one time, no I’m not talking split screens on Frametastic. You simply upload two photos, one main one and another hidden which is only revealed when placing your finger on the main image. I specifically like this feature for before and after shots because fitness is my thaaang but I can also imagine it would be great for make up artists to show their work and fellow fashionistas to show their outfits from day to night and it means you don’t need to worry about chopping your images down to fit them into a split frame so you maintain as much of the image as possible.
I signed up a few nights ago and have been browsing and uploading here and there. I find that images can take quite a while to load (this may be down to our internet as we gear up to switch service provider) and navigating takes some getting used to but I really like the feel of the app. It’s always nice when something is new and untouched by internet trolls.
You can try the app for yourself by downloading it from the iTunes store here. They appear to have a competition going on at the moment if you upload a pic of what you’re wearing between April 21st and May 4th make sure to hashtag #OOTD14 I’ve seen some great entries as you get to be so creative with the two pictures to play with.
Looking forward to posting returning to normal and I hope you had a great Easter 🙂

That’s possible thanks to XTRA REEL POWER system which allows players to select the number of reels. Players are awarded wins for matching symbols in adjacent symbols from left to right. Your winnings are always your money, not ours. We’ll never charge you to withdraw, just as we will never hold your winnings from you with wagering requirements. This game’s cascade feature means that when symbols are part of winning combinations, they vanish after paying out. This leaves their positions open for fresh symbols to fall into their place. Big in real life and big in iGaming, buffalo are a motif that pops up time and again in slots – as well as their dreamy home turf. Skywind Group has recycled all of the original graphics, meaning the same dry, red rock formations in a background image set against a cloudy blue sky. What’s nice about the visuals is they have an almost oil painting quality, where you can make out individual brushstrokes. It’s pleasant on the whole, and the Native American inspired soundtrack drapes a heavy blanket of relaxation over the whole scene making Big Buffalo Megaways a satisfying example of this type of slot.
