I wish you had been here with me, if only to see my face as I spotted the court yard garden nestled at the foot of the Sao Vicente de Fora in central Lisbon. The bright fuscia florals which decorated every inch of the walls were magnificent. I kicked off my shoes, a little something I find myself doing more often with my travels. I want to be able to leave knowing I felt the earth of the countries I visit. But this time I danced around that beautiful garden for as long as I was permitted.
I danced in my whimsical white dress which isn’t a dress at all but was perfect for the early Autumn sun which Lisbon kindly gave us before we were whisked off to another Monument that would surely take my breath away. Yet another destination I have left a piece of my heart with. I cannot wait to tell you more.
